MDS Admission 2013-14

Applications are invited from dental graduates (BDS) for the post graduate (MDS) competitive examination at Manubhai Patel Dental College, Vadodara for the following subjects

MDS: Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Periodontology, Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate for admission to MDS course must have completed his/her rotating internship by the 31st of May of the same year and have a degree of BDS from a college and university recognized by Dental Council of India u/s 10(2) of the Dentist Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by DCI

Candidates should have permanent registration with a State Dental Council

Candidates not possessing a recognized dental qualification for the above purpose must secure the prior approval of Dental Council of India before he/she can be admitted to the MDS Course

Candidates who possess PG Diploma recognized by the DCI with the duration of 2 years (proposed) in particular specialty is eligible for admission in MDS in the same specialty and the duration will be 2 years

Application Form: Applications forms with details will be available online on website www.bhavuni.edu and at the Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University office from 19th March, 2013

Application forms along with all relevant documents and application fees must be submitted at the Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University office before 03.00 p.m. on 06th April, 2013

The application fees Rs 10,000/- must be paid in the form of demand draft in favor of Coordinator, MDS Admission, Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar

Last date of submission of form: 06th April, 2013, 03.00 p.m.

Date of examination: 21st April, 2013, 11.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m.
