Integrated Ph.D Programme in Mathematics Admission-2013

IISER Bhopal is starting an Integrated Ph.D programme in Mathematics from August, 2013

The programme aims to rigorously train and guide students in the various research areas currently represented in the department

Eligibility: Bachelors degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.0 obtained not earlier than 2012

Candidates appearing in the final year exam of their bachelor's degree in these disciplines in 2013 are highly encouraged to apply

Selection: Applications will be screened for an entrance exam to be held on 26th May, 2013 at IISER Bhopal

List of shortlisted candidates will be announced on website www.iiserb.ac.in on 06th May, 2013 and subsequently that of successful candidates will be declared on 03rd June, 2013

Fellowship: All selected candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs 10,000/- per month in the initial two years subject to satisfactory performance in their course work

Subsequently, the fellowship will be revised to comply with the existing CSIR-UGC norms

Reservation: According to Central Govt Norms

Application Form: Applications forms are available at the on website www.iiserb.ac.in

Completed application form along with an application fee of Rs 100/- should be sent to the Coordinator, Academic Affairs, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, Transit Campus, ITI (Gas Rahat) Building, Govindpura, Bhopal-462023, Madhya Pradesh by 22nd April, 2013

The application fee should be remitted in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, IISER Bhopal

Announcement of names of short listed candidates for the entrance exam: 06th May, 2013, Monday

Date of entrance exam: 26th May, 2013, Sunday

Announcement of list of selected candidates for the programme: 03rd June, 2013, Monday
