Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET)-2013

Admission to 3 years Diploma Courses under lateral entry scheme admitted directly in the 2nd year (3rd semester) for the academic session 2013-14 (for Himachali candidates only)

H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala is going to conduct Lateral Entry Entrance Test-2013 (LEET-2013) on 26th May, 2013, Sunday, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon for making admission directly to 2nd year (3rd semester) of various Diploma courses running in the State Polytechnics session 2013-14

Only Himachali bona fide candidate will be eligible for the admission

Eligibility: Candidates appearing in lateral entry entrance test-2013 (LEET) should have passed 10+2, Science/10+2 vocation/10th+ (1 or 2 year ITI/COE) from H.P. Board of School Education or any other recognized board/university in India or from any Industrial Training Institution recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) respectively

Candidate who has appeared in 10+2 Science/10+2 Vocational in March, 2013 shall also be allowed to appear in the test subject to the condition that he/she will have to attain the aforesaid eligibility condition at the time of counseling which shall be verified by the Central Admission Selection Committee

Application Form: The prospectus along with necessary enclosures can be had from the office of the Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala at Dari-176057 between 26th March, 2013 to 27th April, 2013 on cash payment of Rs 650/- for general category and Rs 400/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates

Candidates can also obtain the prospectus through registered post by sending a bank draft of Rs 700/- (general category) and Rs 450/- (SC/ST/OBC) drawn in favour of Secretary, H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, payable at Dharamshala, requesting for the brochure by indicating their complete postal address along with contact numbers

Candidates should write their name and address of the reverse of the demand draft

The request to get prospectus through registered post along with fee must reach the board office up to 16th April, 2013

The application form complete in all respects must reach the board office by 27th April, 2013, 05.00 p.m.
