Four Year Integrated Bachelor of Education Program Admission-2013

Admission through entrance test 2013-17

Prarambh School for Teacher Education, Jhajjar, an autonomous institution, estd by Govt of Haryana, is offering 4 years Integrated Bachelor of Education program leading to degree course in Bachelor of Art + Bachelor of Education (B.A.-B.Ed), Bachelor of Science + Bachelor of Education (B.Sc-B.Ed), Bachelor of Commerce + Bachelor of Education (B.Com-B.Ed)

This innovative and challenging program is designed with multiple level engagement of students on factual courses and teaching experience in real life contexts, so that they have a sound theoretical foundation coupled with a robust practical curriculum

Accordingly there are the following study areas as approved by the Central University, Mahendergarh, Haryana and NCTE

Subject Courses of Humanities, Science and Commerce stream

Professional Education Courses

Self Study courses and activities as additional quality input

Intake: It is a residential course with an intake capacity of 35 seats in each stream (Humanities, Science and Commerce)

Total seats 105

Admission Procedure: Admission to this program will be based on merit, determined as per the performance in the entrance test having four components, namely English, Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Teaching Aptitude

Test shall consist 100 MCQs (25 MCQs on each components) of one mark each with four alternatives out of which one will be correct

There shall be no negative marking

Entrance test will be held on 21st April, 2013, 12.00 Noon to 01.30 p.m.

Examination centre will be within the State of Haryana preferably at the Distt Headquarters

Eligibility: The minimum eligibility condition for appearing in the entrance test is 60% marks in 10+2 of Board of School Education Haryana or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, and ICSE

Those appearing in 10+2 examination in March/April, 2013 are also provisionally eligible to appear in the entrance test

However, their final eligibility would be subject to their minimum qualifying marks in 10+2

Application Form: Entrance test non-refundable fee is Rs 200/- (all casts candidates) and Rs 100/- (SC/DA candidates)

Eligible candidates, desirous of seeking admission in this program, are required to apply online through the website www.hbse.ac.in from 23rd March, 2013 to 05th April, 2013

Eligibility candidates will be able to download the admit card from 09th April, 2013 from the website www.hbse.ac.in
