Applications are invited for admission to the following programs offered in the University Departments and Constituent Colleges for the academic year 2013-14

Entrance Exam Programmes

Admission based on entrance test and group discussion/interview marks

MBA, MBA (Banking and Insurance), MBA (Corporate Secretaryship), MBA (International Business), MCA, M.Sc Biotechnology

Admission based on entrance test marks only

Post M.Sc Advanced Diploma in Molecular Diagnostics, M.Ed, B.Ed (Tamil/English/Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/History/Commerce)

Non-Entrance Programmes

Admission based on Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Games Test

M.P.Ed (2 years), B.P.Ed (1 year), D.P.Ed (2 years)

Admission based on the marks in the qualifying examination

Application Form: Candidates applying for more than one programme will have to use separate application forms

Application form and prospectus can be had from the Registrar, Alagappa University by sending a demand draft obtained from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by post or in person

Name and address of the applicant and the program applied for should be mentioned on the reverse side of the demand draft

Application form can also be downloaded from the university website www.alagappauniversity.ac.in, the cost of the application form should be sent by demand draft while submitting the filled in application form

Cost of application form for entrance exam programme Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for SC/ST applicants), non-entrance exam Rs 300/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST applicants)

Important Dates

Last date for the issue and receipt of filled in application for entrance exam programme is 19th April, 2013

Last date for the issue and receipt of filled in application form for non-entrance exam: 24th May, 2013

Date of Entrance Test

MBA (all programmes): 28th April, 2013, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

M.Sc Biotech/Post M.Sc ADMD: 28th April, 2013, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

MCA: 28th April, 2013, 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.

B.Ed: 05th May, 2013, 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

M.Ed: 05th May, 2013, 02.00 p.m. to 04.00 p.m.

The entrance test will be conducted at Karaikudi only

Date of interview/group discussion/medical test etc if applicable will be intimated later
