Tripura Medical College and Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital is managed by the Society for Tripura Medical College and Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860

The Govt. Body is the decision making level for proper running and development of the Institution

The Health Secretary, Govt. of Tripura is the Chairman of the Govt Body of the Society

Entrance test for admission to 1st years M.B.B.S Courses (8th Batch) under Tripura Medical College, Hapania, Agartala will be held on 26th May, 2013

Applications in the prescribed form are to reach by 20th May, 2013

Eligibility:

As per Medical Council of India (MCI) Amendment Notification No. MCI-34 (1) 2010-Med/32962 dt 07th October, 2010

Candidates must have passed in the subjects of Physic, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology at the qualifying (10+2) Higher Secondary or equivalent examination for submitting application for entrance test

In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Cates/Scheduled Tribes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as stead above and it would be applicable also for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Class for All India Category but not for the Tripura state Domicile category

Age: A candidate must have attained the age 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of application

Date of birth as recorded in Pass Certificate of 10th standard Madhyamik/10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations

Seats: Total seats for MBBS admission in TMC are 100 (one hundred only form which 15 (fifteen) seats will go for Central Pool, 70 (Seventy), Seats will be for candidates domiciled in Tripura only

For the remaining 15 (fifteen) seats candidates form outside Tripura can also compete

Tripura domiciled candidate may opt for both 70 state seats and 15 All India seats, for state seats (Tripura Domiciled) State Reservation Policy and for All India seats
Central Reservation Policy for ST/SC and Other shall apply

How to apply: Candidates can obtained the Information Brochure and Prospects along with the application form attached directly from Principle's Office personally/representative on all working days (11 am to 4 pm) on payment of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand) only by A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of The Society of Tripura Medical College and Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, Hapania, West Tripura, payable at Agartala through S.B.I. or any other nationalized bank

Availability of prospects and application form: 02nd May, 2013
Last date of receipt of complete application form: 20th May, 2013 (up to 5.00 pm)
Issue of admit card from the office: 22nd May, 2013 (10.00am to 4.00 pm)
Entrance test (Agartala Centre only): 26th May, 2013 (2.00pm to 3.30 p.m)
