B.Sc Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Admission-2013

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the programmes:

B.Sc Nursing 

B.Sc Nursing is a four year degree programme which follows the syllabus prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council

The aim of this programme is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing primitive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of individuals in pursuit of health

They may function in the hospital, community- nursing services and conduct research studies in the areas of Nursing Practice

Eligibility

Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December 2013

Pass in Plus Two with 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE)

Courses and Duration

B.Sc Nursing 4 yrs 75% seats

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2 yrs 50% seats

M.Sc Nursing 2 yrs

B.Sc Nursing Course 4 years no of seats 75%, as approved by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University) and is in line with the directives of the Nursing Council of India

Submission of application forms

Download from website and submit along with the application fee by way of a demand draft favouring Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for an amount o Rs. 500/-

Downloaded application forms will not have a serial number; once the duly filled applications along with the demand draft for the amount involved are received in the office of admissions, a serial number will be allotted and the same will be communicated to the candidate by e mail only

For this purpose candidates must have an e-mail ID and those who do not have must create one before submitting the application form and indicate the e mail ID at the appropriate place in the application form
 
Candidates who wish to receive the application number by post should enclose a self addressed post card. On the reverse of the card following should be written:

Last Date for receipt of completed application form: 30th May, 2013
