Panjab University CET Dates for 2014 Session

Panjab University (PU) has announced the schedule for its various entrance tests for 2014-15 academic session

Panjab University Entrance Exam Dates 2014 – OCET-2014, MET 2014, PU CET UG 2014, CET PG,  PUTHAT  2014 and LLB Entrance Test

Admission to all the courses in PU is based onentrance tests conducted by the varsity at the onset of each academic session, which includes the PU Common Entrance Test for Under Graduate courses, PU-CET (UG) and Common Entrance Test for Post Graduate courses, PU-OCET, apart from other department-wise entrance tests

Post Graduate Programme:

PU-OCET (PG) for students seeking admissions in post-graduate courses, including: LL.M (2 year semester system), M.Sc (Industrial Chemistry), MBE (Master of Business Economics), M.Tech (Nano-Science and Nanotechnology), M.Tech (Instrumentation),M.Tech (Polymer), M.Tech (Microelectronics),MCA (Evening) self financing, M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication (2 year), Masters in Public Health, M.A. (English), M.P.ED, M.E. (Chemical),M.E. (Instrumentation and Control), M.E. (Electronics and Communication Engineering), M.E. (Information Technology) (2 year), M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering), MBACIT (Master of Physical Education,Bachelor of Physical Education), M.Com (Hons), M.Com (Business Innovation) and Masters in Public Health

Under Graduate Programme:

CET-UG for admission to various under graduate classes including: B. Pharmacy at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) and all Honours school programme

University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) are required to appear in the MET(Management Entrance Test), UIAMS (University Institute of Applied Management Sciences), UIHMT(University Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism) and PUTHAT (University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test)

BA/B. Com. LL.B. (Hons.) (5 Years) Integrated Courses at PU and Ludhiana Campus will be conducted on18th May 2014

PU-LL.B. (Hons.) (3 Years) at PU Campus will be conducted on 08th June 2014

Meanwhile, 06th June 2014 and 06th July 2014 has been finalised as the date for the Entrance Tests for M.Ed. (Department/all colleges affiliated to PU) and M.Ed. (Correspondence for in-service teachers), respectively

PU Lateral Engineering Entrance Test (PULEET) will be conducted on 13th July 2014

Entrance tests for M. Phil and Ph.D on 27th July 2014 and for MBA (Off Campus) which will be conducted on 03rd Aug 2014
