Master in Interior Architecture & Design International Master of Interior Architectural Design Admission 2013
Applications have been invited by Center for Environmental Planning and Technology University (CEPT), Ahmedabad for admission to following of academic year 2013-14
Interior Design denes the immediate physical environment of a human being, encompassing spiritual, philosophical, mental and emotional relationships that connect man and space
Approved by the Council of Architecture, India, and the Department of Technical Education, Gujarat, MIAD/ IMIAD has philanthropic support from Sir Ratan Tata Trust and the International Federation of Interior Architects, IFI
International Master of Interior Architectural Design
The IMIAD is one of the first internationally orientated post graduate degrees in interior architecture
Part of the course takes place at a partner school, with each school bringing its own emphases and competencies to the course on an undergraduate degree, graduates receive the qualification of International Master of Interior Architectural Design
Faculty:
School of Interior Design, under Faculty of Design, established in 1991, is a pioneer institute in Interior Design education, offering a full-time five year programme in Interior Design leading to the award of Bachelor of Interior Design
Faculty of Design offers two-year postgraduate programmes in design in three streams leading to the award of Masters in Interior Architecture and Design, MIAD, and International Master of Interior Architectural Design, IMIAD
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Design or equivalent, awarded upon completion of a course of minimum four years duration, or bachelor's degree in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture, or bachelor's degree in Construction Technology (five-year programme), or
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design awarded upon completion of a course of three years duration, provided that the selected candidates successfully clear 12 months of Bridge Course to be conducted at CEPT, or Diploma in Interior Design of four years duration (12+4), provided that the programme is considered equivalent to a four-year degree programme by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University
In case this equivalence is not granted by CEPT University the selected candidate will have to undergo 12 months of Bridge Course
Scholarships: CEPT University has instituted both means-based as well as merit-cum-means Scholarship Schemes to help economically weak students provided that the students meet the merit and means criteria
Student Aid (Tuition Fees Loan Scholarship Scheme):
This Scheme is benecial to students opting for bank loans to fund their study at CEPT University
The University has introduced Tuition Fees Loan Scholarship Scheme, by which it will reimburse interest to the extent of 50%, of the interest paid by the student/parents during the study period
The Scheme is applicable to students whose household income is below Rs. 7.5 lakh and the students should have not received any nancial sources
Registration:
If admitted, candidates should pay the fees before the due date; if one does not pay the fees, it will be understood that one is not interested in getting admitted and the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list
Produce the medical report, fee receipt, admission letter, certificate testimonials, other credentials in original and Agreements signed by the student and parent/guardian, at the time of registration
The candidate must register himself/herself at the school on the registration date
Candidates who have been offered admission and have paid their fees, but do not register or attend classes in the first week will forfeit their admission and their admission will be cancelled. Only deposit(s) will be refunded to those leaving the programme
Admission Procedure
Application form & information brochure will be available from CEPT office desk on payment of Rs.2000/- (non-refundable) in Cash or by Demand Draft in favour of "CEPT Faculty of Design" payable at Ahmedabad

Cancellation of Admission
Closure of admission: 9th August, 2013
Date of Registration: 13th July, 2013 and 14th July, 2013
Failure to turn up for registration till 14th July, 2013: Admissions stands cancelled and seat will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list
Cancellation of admission Rs. 2000/- before 09th August, 2013
Administrative charges will be deducted and balance fee will be refunded
Cancellation after (Closure of Admission): no refund of fees: 09th August, 2013
